Hello ...this is my first post here. Tonight I heard a Tawny Owl out the back of the house ...what a delight indeed as I have missed them sooo much since leaving Mytholmroyd in West Yorkshire which was a very birdy place indeed. I thought that magpies were the sum total pretty much of birdlife here ..but no ...the owls have come to say helloooo. Oh, and the Owl above is Speccy Owl in one of her guises as drawn by yours truly ...a little rustic but she works ok in small pics as well as bigger ones.
Signing off for now as I have a reading to do in the morning followed by an emergency patient at 10.30am ...no rest for the wicked but sometimes we must work weekends when we are needed.
